The Swan City Half Marathon is proud to partner with the Grande Prairie Fire Fighters Charity Foundation! The GPFFCF is a charity run by city firefighters who are passionate about making Grande Prairie a better place to live. 100% of the money we raise goes to families and individuals in need in the Grande Prairie area! Participants are presented the opportunity to fundraise for the GPFFCF and the event has created a ‘Run for Charity’ category. Entrants in this category pay a reduced entry fee and fundraise a minimum of $300 for our partner charity!

Beaverlodge Boogie Race 2024, Beaverlodge, AB: St Mary Catholic School and the Beaverlodge Boogie Club invite you to join us Saturday, October 5th, 2024 McNaught Homestead, Secondary Hwy 722, 5 km from Beaverlodge. Parking is available at the McNaught Homestead.
Race times: K-3 Boys (1.8km): 10:00 am
K-3 Girls (1.8 km): 10:20 am
4-6 Boys (1.8 km): 10:40 am
4-6 Girls (1.8 km): 11:00 am
Grade 7-9 all (5.4 km): 11:20 am
Grade 10-12, Open and Masters (adults)(6.6km): 11:50 am

Passport to the Peaks program celebrates the beauty of the area south of Grande Prairie by identifying the ring of mountains that surround the town of Grande Cache.
The 21 mountain peak hiking incentive program is divided into Bronze, Silver & Gold categories, depending on the level of difficulty to reach the summits.
